Buying, selling and investing in Buckhead.

Buckhead is the shortest commute to Midtown and Downtown in our service area, and the widest range of housing: a high-rise condo and a gated estate can sit half a mile apart.

What it is like

City living, with more kinds of front door than anywhere else we work.

Buckhead is really several markets wearing one name. High-rise condos along Peachtree. Historic estates on the Tuxedo Park and West Paces streets. Post-war ranches on quiet interior blocks, many now being replaced by new builds. Newer townhome pockets near the village.

Buyers come for proximity: Midtown in fifteen to twenty minutes, Downtown not much more, Hartsfield-Jackson straightforward. You trade lot size and school-district simplicity for that convenience.

If you are weighing Buckhead against Brookhaven or Sandy Springs, the honest difference is price per square foot and how much you value walkability to restaurants over yard.

FAQ

Questions we hear about Buckhead

Is Buckhead a good place to buy a condo as an investment?

It can be, but the building matters more than the unit. We read the HOA financials, the reserve study and — critically — any cap on the number of units that may be rented. A great condo in a building at its rental cap is not an investment.

How does Buckhead compare to Brookhaven and Sandy Springs?

Buckhead is the most established and generally the most expensive per square foot. Brookhaven gives you in-town walkability for less. Sandy Springs puts you next to Perimeter employers instead of Midtown ones. Commute decides it more often than taste.

What does a house in Buckhead cost?

The range is genuinely enormous: roughly $700K for a smaller interior-street home up past $3M on the estate streets, with condos starting well below. Ask us about a specific street and we will give you real recent numbers.

Are there still older homes to renovate in Buckhead?

Yes, though fewer each year, and you will usually be bidding against builders. We can tell you quickly whether a given lot makes sense as a renovation or only as a teardown.
